  1. Christian Education

    Christian Education is responsible for identifying, developing, implementing, and maintaining the educational needs of the youth and adults of the congregation.

  2. Communication

    The Communications Committee is organized to keep members of the congregation and surrounding community informed. They prepare Grace Alive, maintain bulletin boards, bulletins, and handle advertising.

  3. Evangelism

    Evangelism is responsible to spread the good news by encouraging new growth, revitalizing old members, and visitations. Evangelism is constantly seeking new members and new ideas.

  4. Fellowship

    Fellowship Committee plans and executes the social/fellowship/fun activities within the congregation. They organize the picnic, Mardi Gras, Receptions, and numerous other activities.

  5. Finance

    Finance prepares budgets, pays bills, counts offerings, and oversees the finances of the church.

  6. Social Ministry

    Social Ministry is responsible for outreach events such as community meals, supporting the Pottstown Cluster, organizing blood drives, collecting receipts from Genuardi's, Professional Pharmacy, and Sunset Apothecary, and numerous other outreach projects throughout the year and at holiday times.

  7. Music and Worship

    Music and Worship is responsible to ensure the services of God's House are conducted regularly and in accordance with policies of the E.L.C.A.. Music and Worship plans services and works with the music staff.

  9. Spiritual Growth

    Spiritual Growth seeks to assess the activities and ways in which members of the congregation grow spiritually. One of the many changes seen at Grace Lutheran Church in 1998, was the addition of the Spiritual Growth Committee. The main objective of the Spiritual Growth Committee is to ensure that members of our congregation have the tools needed to continue to deepen their connection to God, as well as experience, a continued deepening of their faith. This is not a new concept. God created each of us as spiritual beings. Who each of us is as an individual is defined by one's own spirituality and the connections to God each of us finds through the things one does and encounters each day. Each of us grows spiritually and feels his or her connection to God in a unique and individual way.
